Product introduction

Granry-CL Tablet should be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise and not smoking may help this medicine to work better.

Fatigue, ankle swelling, sleepiness, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), and headache are some common side effects of this medicine. It may raise the level of potassium level in the blood, hence avoid the intake of potassium rich food. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level while taking this medicine.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. You must tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Granry-CL Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Granry-CL Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Granry-CL Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Granry-CL Tablet works

Granry-CL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cilnidipine and Irbesartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Irbesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
